Slood is brilliant! I found it on xfce-look.org and followed the link to your website. You've inspired me to try to create and publish an Xfce theme of my own. I've never done anything quite like this before, so it may take some time, but if I managed to create something that looks half as good as Slood in the end, I'll consider it a success!
I'm glad. XFCE themes really aren't too hard to make. Especially if you start with one that's already been made and work from it as a template.
Really neat theme. Thanks for sharing. :)
Thanks for liking it. :)
Very good theme
But I don't like that it inherits gtk theme colors. I tried to set my own colors in themerc but it wasn't looking good - it lost this little border
Awesome theme, but I'm not too fond of the bottom border. I tried to make it look like the rest of the borders, but I cant make it “inherit” the GTK colours. Help?
If you edit the XPM files in a text editor (any plain old text editor) you'll see how the colors are defined. You can set parts (or all) of the XPM to colors out of your GTK theme. The properties have weird names like “active_shadow_2″ and I only got it to look right after much trial and error.
